Tinsley Mortimer may have gotten her fairytale in Chicago, but she’s still planning a Real Housewives of New York City return — for the reunion, anyway.
Despite quitting the show mid-season to start a new life with fiancé Scott Kluth, the RHONY alum is set to make a return to battle it out with the women for the season 12 reunion.
“Tinsley is planning on joining the reunion, too, despite walking away from the show earlier this season,” a source told The Hollywood Life on June 29. “So you can expect one of the hottest topics at the reunion to be Dorinda Medley‘s and Tinsley’s feud.”
Tinsley and Dorinda went head-to-head this season in a slew of messy fights, with the drama seemingly continuing off-screen up to this day, so their beef will likely spill out into a reunion brawl.
It’s unclear whether or not the RHONY reunion will be filmed in-person or at home virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic, although Bravo is pushing for a return to normal with “many protocols in place.”
“[They hope] to tape the Real Housewives of New York City reunion in the city in August,” the source continued. “Obviously, if coronavirus cases spike again, plans may be altered, but right now, all systems are a go to do this in person in the city and the ladies are really excited about it.”
After Tinsley’s departure and a two-week hiatus, the RHONY women are also back with brand new taglines and a teaser video released on June 29.
“I’m no one’s arm candy, I’m the whole bowl of sugar,” Sonja Morgan sasses, referencing part of her season 12 storyline where friend Elyse Slaine called her “an accessory.”
“So what if I’m self-involved. Who else should I be involved with?” asks Ramona Singer, somewhat echoing her original tagline regarding her ongoing single status.
Both Leah McSweeney and Luann de Lesseps seemingly jabbed at Ramona for her treatment of them this season, with Leah smugly saying, “I’ll say sorry for what I’ve done but never for who I am,” and Luann remarking, “I rise above the drama and won’t settle for the lower level.”
