RHONY: Carole Radziwill Claims Bethenny Frankel Had Insider Access to Information and Storylines While Filming

The Real Housewives of New York City alum Carole Radziwill is coming for former co-star Bethenny Frankel once again.

In a new interview, Carole is making some pretty salacious claims that Bethenny had an insider relationship with RHONY producers and storylines that the other cast members were not privy to.

Speaking with Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef podcast, Carole said, “She [Bethenny] had access to information about the show that none of the rest of us had access to. So, I could see that like, you know, she would, she knew what was, what was said and scenes that she wasn’t in.”

Carole also claims that it made the rest of the cast feel uncomfortable as they felt Bethenny was more protected than them.

“So, there was clearly some communication that was happening between her and production that wasn’t happening with the rest of us in production. That did make people afraid to say things that, you know, that they would have said normally, because there was, you know, it was someone more protected. Really crafting storylines that the producers would be like, okay, we’re going to, we’re going to do this,” she said.

Carole went on to say that she only found out about all of this because she borrowed one of the showrunner’s phones and discovered a text chain that Bethenny clearly “had access to.”

“I didn’t know there was, [this] chain, like this story chain or something, it was like a text message. And all the producers, it was a group text with all the producers… I think she had access to some version of that,” she said. “I only found out about it because I, I borrowed one of the producer’s, showrunner, one of the showrunner’s phone for something. And then it came up and I was like, what is this?… He grabbed it. He’s like, that’s the story, texts, chain or something.”

Carole says that it became clear that Bethenny was in on the texts.

“…it became kind of clear that she had access to it whether or not directly from producers or just, you know, there’s a lot of people on it,” she said. “It could’ve just been a relationship she had with, you know, a PA or something. But I remember thinking, okay, there’s just no way she would have known that unless she was told by a producer. So, I saw that.”

Carole did have some kinder words for Bethenny as she thinks Bethenny would make for a great producer for the show, but she doubts that she would return in that role.

“She would be good as a producer… I doubt she would come back as a producer; you know.”

As casting for the new season of RHONY is underway after a terrible last season, Carole addressed her thoughts on Bethenny returning as a cast member with the podcast.

“If she wanted to, I’m sure that they would definitely entertain that… but you know, I, I don’t know,” she stated.

The Real Housewives of New York City is currently casting its new season and is expected to air sometime next year.
