Ariana Madix reacted to Lala Kent calling her out for not defending Scheana Shay when fans were “ripping her apart” for posing in a photo with Tom Sandoval.
The photo surfaced online last year, showing Scheana with her arm slightly around Tom, who cheated on Ariana. Ariana seemed to leave Scheana to the wolves for a while, letting fans eviscerate her for the image. And though she eventually came to her defense, the following Vanderpump Rules preview was filmed before she changed her tune.
“I’ve never seen Scheana this upset,” said Lala to Ariana in the clip shared by @nosmokenomore on X. “She was like a shell of a person.”
“I think her whole thing is, ‘If I go somewhere where he’s around, can I be able to enjoy myself and have fun with him on a very surface level?'” Lala added.
Ariana soon clapped back.
“Well I’m not asking her to like f**king fight him,” she said. “I’m not asking her to do anything.”
But Lala shared how the internet was “ripping” Scheana “apart” over the photo.
“And you didn’t come to her defense, at all,” added Lala.
“I’m not gonna post and then have my s**t reposted as headlines and stuff,” Ariana responded.
“Even for your friend?” asked Lala. “You couldn’t tell all these people who are your stans to say like, ‘I love Scheana. She’s a great friend. Everyone knock it off?'”
“I don’t know,” said Ariana, shrugging her shoulders. “I guess I could.”
