Teddi Mellencamp revealed she’s living in Kyle Richards’ house amid her divorce from Edwin — while announcing her new podcast with former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star Erika Jayne. The alum said she’s sleeping in Kyle’s “glam room” as Erika reacted. Teddi also responded to the claim she’s “selling out” Tamra Judge, the co-host of her Two T’s In A Pod podcast.
Both Teddi and Erika are in the midst of their own divorces. Teddi recently announced that she filed for divorce from Edwin, but she’s been relatively quiet about the details. It seems she’ll be sharing more info about it in the new podcast.
The podcast is called Diamonds in the Rough, and in the first episode, Teddi revealed she’s living with her friend Kyle amid the divorce.
“So I live at Kyle’s,” said Teddi.
“Do you really? Holy s**t,” Erika responded.
Teddi said she’s sleeping in the “glam room” of Kyle’s main house.
“That’s my bedroom now,” she said, via @bravosnarkside on Instagram.
“No. Are you serious?” Erika asked. “Up there? I thought you were living in the house in the back.”
But according to Teddi, she and Edwin are taking turns staying at their shared home with the kids.
“It’s where the kids stay and the parents come and go,” she said. “So the kids never have [to leave] within that six month[s] or however long.”
“Both Edwin and I leave when the other one sleeps,” she said. “[But] we can both be there for sporting events [and such] … we’re completely happy to be around one another.”
Teddi explained that they’re amicable.
The stars first announced their new podcast in a December 5 Instagram post.
“Teddi and Erika met as diamonds, but as we all know, life always gets a little rough,” said the post from the podcast’s Instagram account. “So we took that and polished it into our new gem of a podcast, Diamonds in the Rough! From life and love to pop culture hot takes, Teddi and Erika are digging into the topics you relate to in ways that only they can.”
In the comments, a fan asked if Teddi is “selling out” Tamra, insinuating that she’s ditching their Two T’s In A Pod podcast.
“Nope,” Teddi responded. “This is under [the Two T’s In A Pod] umbrella and me and Tam do about 5 podcasts a week together.”
