Ariana Biermann shared an update on her mom Kim Zolciak amid her “really long” divorce with Kroy Biermann. The Don’t Be Tardy star also hinted at Kim’s dating life, and she addressed filming with Riley Burruss and Gia Giudice on Next Gen NYC.

In May 2023, Kim first filed for divorce, but she dismissed the petition a few months later. Kroy, however, filed his own motion later that year. Though they recently moved out of their shared home, they both were living there for a large part of the separation. During that time, cops were called many times for various disputes.

Speaking with Us Weekly, Ariana shared how her mom is doing amid her “really long” divorce battle with Kroy.

“My mom is great. She just moved into a new house and she’s doing great,” said the star, who’s “very protective” of Kim.

“I think it gets hard sometimes. It’s been a really long divorce,” she added. “[It’s been] two and a half f***ing years, and it’s still not even almost done.”

She said Kim is her “best friend in the world,” and she wishes to see her living her best life. “I hope that she just continues to thrive,” shared the 23-year-old. “She’s been with my stepdad for 13 [or] 14 years now, and I’m just excited for her to just be a mom. I tell her, ‘It’s your first time in this world too, so I’ll be your mom sometimes when you need it.’”

According to Ariana, Kim is dating again.

“She’s exploring her options, and she should,” said Ariana. “She’s out there and she deserves it. I’m like, ‘Don’t get anything serious yet.’ I also tell her we’re in a totally different world than we once were [and] these people are f***ing crazy.”

She also addressed her journey with Riley and Gia on Next Gen NYC.

“I feel like it’s going to be really exciting to see kind of all of us come into our own as adults. When our moms were on Housewives, we were kids,” she said. “A lot of the time, people still think I’m 12 years old. They’re like, ‘Why are you wearing a bikini?’ I’m like, ‘Girl, I’m 23, OK? I’m actually grown up now.’ I feel like it’s going to be a lot of fun to see all of our friendships blossom and see us navigate New York. At least for me, I’m new here.”

Ariana then hinted at her friendship with co-star Emira D’Spain.

“I loved [Emira],” said Ariana. “I was like, ‘You’re coming with me.’ She’s like, ‘We’re doing this.’ She called me, ‘You’re moving to New York City. We’re doing this. You’re doing this show with me.’ I’m like, ‘New York’s my dream, and I was like, we’re doing it.’”
