Meredith Marks shaded “actress” Britani Bateman, and she suggested her relationship ups and downs with Jared Osmond are “performative.” The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star also addressed where she stands with Whitney Rose.
Last season, Meredith feuded with both Whitney and Britani. With the approaching season six premiere, fans are wondering how Meredith feels about her co-stars now.
On Page Six Radio, Meredith was asked if Heather Gay shot her shot with Captain Jason Chambers during their charter on Below Deck Down Under.
“Well, do you think I can give that away?” answered Meredith. “I mean, we have a couple single women [in the cast].”
The hosts then asked about Britani’s relationship status. (According to Britani, Jared recently broke up with her.)
“I don’t know. I don’t track that anymore because it’s too performative for me,” said Meredith, alluding to her breakups with Jared, the nephew of singer Donny Osmond. “I think everything she does is for the drama. Like I don’t … know who she is. I don’t know what’s real there. She’s an actress. I think this is a job for her.”
During an RHOSLC watch party, Meredith, Lisa Barlow, and Mary Cosby were asked to pick one word to describe their relationship journey with Whitney this season.
“Are you sure that’s a good idea?” asked Meredith, via @briefedbyelle on Instagram. “S**t-ney.”
Lisa answered, “I don’t know if we were on a journey.”
Mary expressed, “We’re peaceful … I think she’s vulnerable this season. And that’s something we don’t really get … She’s open and she tells her truth.”
“I don’t [think she’s vulnerable],” said Lisa.
“Are we all in the same place?” Meredith agreed.
Last month, in an interview for Us Weekly, Meredith called season six “a little tough.”
“It was a lot more lies, people trying to stir up trouble for me for no reason, and it’s not like I haven’t talked about my life. It’s not like I’m hiding things. There’s nothing to delve into, but they seem to want to create things to delve into,” she said at the time.
Lisa added, “There’s lies and a lot of turning nothings into somethings to create problems … Attention and jealousy.”
Britani told the outlet, “Expect the unexpected … because honestly, we found ourselves in situations that I wouldn’t have dreamed in a fever dream.”
