Melissa Gorga seemingly slammed Teresa Giudice’s hope for reconciliation, suggesting it’s “crazy,” and she hinted that she wouldn’t move forward with her sister-in-law even if Teresa apologizes.

Last week, Teresa suggested on Jeff Lewis Live that she’d consider reconciling with her brother Joe Gorga and his wife Melissa, and that she would possibly film the Real Housewives of New Jersey with them again. Last month, Melissa, Dolores Catania, and Margaret Josephs reportedly test-filmed with potential newbies for the upcoming season.

During Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” Awards, Melissa was asked on stage how she reacted to Teresa’s suggestion that she wants to reconcile.

A few audience members started laughing. “That’s the reaction,” said Melissa, seemingly pointing to the laughter.

“I’m trying to be serious,” said Melissa after laughing herself. “I have an answer for this because I knew — I had a feeling — you were going to ask this question. And the truth is … for the last year, the door has been closed.”

She continued, “[She’s] said out loud on multiple platforms, podcasts, whatever it might be, that the door is closed. So the truth is, I’m just confused why it might be opening or cracking a little bit. And like, is it the timing? You know, what’s going on here? So my guess is as good as yours.”

“I think that’s something new,” she went on. “Neither of us have had any contact in probably two years at this point. Right? Sad but true. So, that’s just so strange to just come out with that out of nowhere … The truth is, like, it’s just weird. If it was authentic and things were happening and there was talks … There’s zero. So [it] doesn’t make really a lot of sense to me right now.”

At the same event, Melissa was asked if there’s room to move forward if Teresa apologizes.

“I just think it’s kind of crazy to me,” she said, speaking with The Reality Rundown. “The fact that the door is now open just seems like strange timing to me … [after], obviously, they said they’re trying to cancel me at a reunion. So it’s so odd … I don’t know how true I think that is.”
