In an awkward exchange, Jackie Goldschneider called out her friend and podcast co-host Jennifer Fessler and accused her of social-climbing, as Jennifer reacted.
Jennifer and Jackie, who developed a friendship on Real Housewives of New Jersey, joined forces for their podcast, Two Jersey Js. Unfortunately, it seems they haven’t made an episode since May.
“I’m telling you honestly, Jenn and I, the reason we have issues sometimes is cause I feel like I loved you so much, and you don’t love me back the same way,” said Jackie to Jenn at Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea Afterparty, via Stars SiriusXM 109 on YouTube. “I feel like when there’s someone more famous in the room, you gravitate towards them, and I’m not worth it to you, and that’s why we’ve grown apart.”
Jenn responded, “I mean, that’s going to be a very interesting sound bite and something that we should probably talk about.”
Jackie added, “That’s the truth of it. I don’t feel like you value my friendship the way that I valued yours … It is what it is.”
“I’m so sorry you feel that way,” said Jenn. “It’s definitely bad. It’s not good.”
According to Jackie, Jenn didn’t “invest in our friendship” like Jackie did. “And I had to remove myself in order to feel valued,” Jackie added. “I loved you. But you like were always looking for who’s better in the room than me. And that’s okay. It’s just it is what it is. I’m not in a bad place with anybody. It’s just that … I know what is real, and like the things that are real in my life are real, and the things that are just part of the Bravo bubble are not real. And they’re just fun and that’s it.”
Last month, Melissa Gorga, Dolores Catania, and Margaret Josephs reportedly test-filmed with potential newbies. Although Jackie, Jennifer, and Teresa Giudice weren’t there, a source claimed they’re still in the running for the upcoming season, as no decisions have been made.
More recently, Teresa shared that she’s willing to reconcile with her brother-in-law, Joe Gorga, and his wife, Melissa. But Melissa seemingly swatted her olive branch, showing little interest in making amends.
