Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Gia Giudice seemingly shaded her dad Joe Giudice’s fight with Antonio Sabato Jr., and she suggested the match was “completely rigged” in Sabato’s favor.

On September 27, Gia traveled to Mexico to support Joe as he battled Sabato in a pay-per-view boxing match called the “Battle of the Italian Stallions.” Despite Joe’s efforts, Sabato won.

“My dad had a celebrity boxing match where he versed Antonio Sabato, Jr.,” said Gia on her podcast, Casual Chaos with Gia Giudice. “And although [my dad] did not win, I think it was completely rigged.”

“This was definitely something that I think [Sabato] needed and something that he was working really hard for,” Gia went on. “He had gone to L.A. prior to the fight and trained for three months leading up to this fight.”

As for Joe, a training session in L.A. was impossible, as he’s not allowed in the United States.

“Do I think that [Sabato] was a pro fighter after the three months of training? Definitely not. But neither is my dad,” said Gia. “And at the end of the day, it was a celebrity boxing match. So even just seeing [my dad] and seeing his athleticism just shine at his age, it’s pretty inspiring. It’s really incredible. And I just give him props for that. Like, he’s 55, still doing things that, like, a 20 or 30-year-old should be doing.”

Before the match, in an interview with TMZ Sports, Gia addressed the competition.

“Listen, I support [my dad] with everything that he does,” she expressed at the time. “It’s definitely nerve-wracking. I have a trip after this that I’m going to straight from here, but I delayed it a little bit because I had to be here for the fight. He’s here by himself, so I wanted him to have at least one person here with him… Fingers crossed.”

“I mean, [during] his last fight, I was screaming my head off. I didn’t know what to do,” she added. “I don’t know how I’m gonna keep my composure this fight. I feel like I’m gonna stay more calm … It’s not easy. I give him a lot of credit … My dad has a lot of stamina. It’s pretty incredible seeing what he does at his age, too. No matter what way the fight goes, it’s definitely just cool seeing him do it at his age.”
