Teresa Giudice declared it “takes two to make up” after her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, seemingly rejected her offer to reconcile. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star then shared why she opened the door to a potential reconciliation, and she revealed which castmate would be good on Special Forces.

On the latest season of RHONJ, Melissa and Teresa barely filmed together at all amid their feud. Years ago, their relationship took a turn when Melissa and her husband Joe Gorga (Teresa’s brother) refused to go to her wedding.

On Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, Teresa addressed why she chose to potentially reconcile.

“[My daughter] Gia and I … were in Morocco [for Special Forces] days before [the competition started] … to get adjusted with the time and everything,” said the star. “We had a lot of, you know, bonding time, and we talked about a lot of things. And so, you know, what made me choose that [was] not because … I’m worried about not getting back on the cast, because it is what it is. Like if it happens, it happens. If it doesn’t, it doesn’t.”

“My whole thing is I want to be a good example for my children,” she explained. “[If] anything ever happens [between my daughters] … I want one of them to be able to say like, ‘Move on past it.'”

Teresa added, “It takes two to make up … but sometimes it takes one person to make the peace.”

Later on, her daughter, Gia, was asked which of her Next Gen NYC castmates would be good on Special Forces.

“I think Ariana would actually be really great on Special Forces,” said Gia. “Who would not be? Like the rest of them. Like Brooks, Emira, Riley, they would die.”

As for the RHONJ cast, Teresa answered, “I would say Jennifer Aydin would be good. Yeah, because she’s, you know, she’s young … I feel like age has a lot to do with it too … That does play a big part. Because I looked up before coming here, like, how old everybody was that won [Special Forces] … It’s hardcore. Like I’m not kidding. It’s hard. And they’re carrying 30-pound backpacks.”

“Did you see me going up those stairs? Thank God for [officer] Billy, because I swear I was going to give up there,” she went on. “He pushed me [up]. And I’m so glad … That was amazing.”
