It’s been several years since Laguna Beach ended its run on MTV. Since then, the cast members have all moved on with their lives, but the fandom has been eager for Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari to put an end to their years-long feud. Now, it seems this may have happened as they recently shared a reunion photo.

Laguna Beach premiered on MTV in September 2004 and ran until 2006. The drama between Lauren, 39, and Kristin, 38, mainly stemmed from the love triangle between the two women and their co-star, Stephen Colletti, 39.

Kristin posted the reunion photo on Instagram. In it, she’s wearing a black mini skirt and a matching shirt and jacket. She’s also wearing a pair of black heels. Lauren is sporting an all-white outfit, including a pair of pants and a matching vest.

Kristin used a playful caption for the photo, writing, “Everyone can put away their team Lauren and team Kristin shirts now.” Naturally, fans were in shock over the reunion of the two Laguna Beach co-stars. One person wrote, “What a throwback! I love it so much!! Girls looking incredible and representing millennials never aging haha.”

Someone else said, “This healed something inside of me that I didn’t even remember was broken.” Another fan stated, “This is the kind of energy our whole country needs right now!”

The reunion between the two comes after Lauren confirmed that a reunion special was set to air on Roku in 2026. She posted a throwback picture of the cast on Instagram on September 24. Lauren said in the caption, “Let’s go back to the beginning… Reuniting the cast of Laguna Beach, coming to the Roku Channel in 2026.”

The upcoming reunion will be a two-hour special. The creator of the series, Liz Gateley, told Variety, “When I first pitched the show to my bosses at MTV, never in a million years did I think we would find such a perfect group of real friends. The show not only changed my life and the cast’s lives, but the series meant so much to a generation of fans who’ve been waiting for this.”

She added, “To partner with Roku to reunite the cast and produce this special with Lauren, Stephen, and Kristin as executive producers 20 years later is a dream.”
