Dr. Terry Dubrow addressed past rumors about his marriage to Heather Dubrow, and he revealed more details about his feud with The Biggest Loser’s Jillian Michaels.
Last year, the personal trainer shared her belief that Ozempic, as a weight-loss drug, is concerning. She also theorized that people will witness its fallout in two years. In response, Terry, a plastic surgeon, suggested that people shouldn’t take medical advice from a personal trainer.
In 2022, rumors began circulating that Terry allegedly cheated on Heather. Soon after, Heather and Terry were seen in loved-up pics at Disneyland, embracing each other in full view of paparazzi. At the time, several of Heather’s Real Housewives of Orange County co-stars suggested the photos were staged to distract from the rumors.
On Boyfriend Material with Harry Jowsey, Terry addressed the past rumors.
“One of the things we got accused of was [about] rumors about our relationship that were ridiculous,” he said. “My daughter had a 15 or 16-year-old birthday, so we took her and her friends to Disneyland, and so my wife and I just sold our house for $55 million, and we hadn’t closed yet. It was in escrow. It almost closed. The money went hard, and money went hard. We were like, ‘Ugh,’ and so we’re at Disneyland, and imagine what that feels like to sell your house.”
“We felt good and we’re at Disneyland hugging, and some paparazzi took pictures of us, and it came out, and people said we called the paparazzi to counteract rumors that we were breaking up or something,” he went on. “Most of the people out there think we did, and what I said on the show, it became a storyline on The Real Housewives of Orange County. How silly is this? So, I said, ‘First of all, I want that paparazzi.’ I love being famous.”
According to Terry, his level of fame is “the best” because everybody’s nice to them and they get “a lot of attention.”
Later on, Terry shared that he took a test to prove a point amid his feud with Jillian.
“I was concerned that Jillian Michaels was going to say, ‘Well, you’re just a plastic surgeon. What do you know about the treatment of obesity?’ Even though I’m an MD. So I studied for and took the American Board of Obesity Medicine Certification Exam,” said Terry.
“Just because of that?” asked Harry.
“Just because of that,” he answered. “I know, I know. I’m such a nerd.”
