Teresa Giudice hinted at her recent meeting with brother Joe Gorga after sharing her wish to reconcile with his family. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star also recalled “incidences” that made her want to end the feud, and she addressed rumors surrounding her finances and marriage.
Earlier this year, Teresa shared that she was open to making up with her brother and his wife, Melissa Gorga, amid their years-long feud. During the summer, Melissa and other castmates (minus Teresa) test-filmed with potential newbies for the next season. Some fans have speculated that the test shoot was boring, but Bravo isn’t interested in filming both sisters-in-law unless they make up.
Before the meeting, Teresa hinted that it would happen off-camera. As of now, her friend Jennifer Aydin isn’t being considered for the new season.
On Jennifer’s new podcast, TV Gold with Jennifer Aydin, Teresa was asked about the recent meeting.
“[It’s] baby steps,” said Teresa, who hinted at “incidences” that made her want to reconcile. “There’s incidences that has happened the past few years or whatever. Like for instance … [My daughter] Audriana saw little Joey at a party. And when they saw each other, they got teary-eyed, and I think they hugged, and it was so sweet.”
“And then Joey told Audriana he wanted to send Gia a message, which, that touched my heart,” Teresa added. “Whatever happens with the parents shouldn’t affect the kids.”
Later in the podcast, Jennifer cleared up a rumor.
“I did not lend you $500,000 or any amount of money ever,” said Jennifer.
“No,” confirmed Teresa.
“Never,” said Jennifer. “This is fake news.” Aydin also shared that she and Bill have “not filed for bankruptcy,” and Bill was not at a beach with his mistress, despite an AI photo suggesting otherwise.
Teresa then addressed a rumor that she and Luis are “getting divorced.”
“No,” said Teresa. “We’re not. [It’s] fake news. Absolutely not.” The star also hinted that it wasn’t a big deal that she didn’t “test film” with potential newbies this summer.
“[I’ve] never test-filmed before,” she laughed. “[People] need to calm down about that.”
