Craig Conover reacted to Shep Rose’s claim that Craig’s relationship with Paige DeSorbo was a “sham.” Craig also suggested there may be a “road back” to Southern Charm for Kathryn Dennis, and he addressed his past relationship with Natalie Buffett in the season 11 premiere.
At BravoCon 2025, Shep was caught on film saying that Craig and Paige’s romance was a “sham” to get more “followers,” as they made “millions” of dollars “on reality TV’s back.” After she broke up with him, Craig quickly began dating Natalie, though the new relationship didn’t last long.
On Jeff Lewis Live, Craig addressed Shep’s claims.
“My assistant told me about [the video] this morning, and I purposely said I don’t want to see it,” said Craig. “I’m aware of [it] contextually, but I wasn’t there, and I was like, ‘I had a great — knock on wood — a great BravoCon and I stayed busy.’ And I think I’m bummed because it brought me and Paige’s name into it where … it looks like that was a big topic, but in reality … I had nothing but nice things to say about her.”
Later in the episode, Madison LeCroy shared that she tried to contact her ex-co-star Kathryn after she was sentenced to jail for a DUI.
“I have tried to reach out to Kathryn, just like a wellness check situation. [I] shot her a text and said, ‘If you ever need anything, obviously please call me,'” said Madison. “I think Craig can probably say he got a reply, because I didn’t.”
“We intermittently message,” said Craig. “I do owe her a call because after her jail — she just got out of … serving her sentence — and I do need to call her. I am privy to some information that there might be a road back for Kathryn. But a lot has to happen, and I feel like I owe it to Kathryn to at least give it a shot and talk to her about it.”
In the season 11 premiere, Craig shared more details about his romance with Natalie, an influencer he met during a Bahamas trip in 2019 (years before they reconnected).
“It was just [that] she made me feel whole again, and it’s unfair to her,” said Craig in a convo with Madison, via Bravo TV. “But then, once I felt whole again, I was like, ‘Oh, I have more healing [to do].’”
Craig recalled that he “didn’t know what to do” after hearing reports that Paige was allegedly seeing someone else post-split.
“I was just lonely, and I didn’t know how to be by myself,” he said. “And I think that’s why I rushed into the first person I talked to. Like, I didn’t talk to anyone else. It was just her.”
In a confessional, he joked that people arguably have “three true loves” in life, and he’s had two already: Paige and his ex, Naomie Olindo.
At some point in the episode, Craig said of Paige: “I was betrayed by the person I trusted most in this entire world … I mean, we had our whole future planned.”
