Teresa Giudice hinted that she still has her sights set on moving to Florida. Plus, she and her good friend, Alexia Nepola, addressed her potential casting on Real Housewives of Miami.
Though Teresa is an original castmate on Real Housewives of New Jersey, her show has been on hiatus for almost a year and a half. Right now, she’s two years away from being an ‘empty nester,’ as all of her daughters except Audriana Giudice (a sophomore in high school) have moved out.
In the past, Teresa has expressed interest in moving to the Sunshine State, where she and her husband, Luis Ruelas, spend a lot of their time. Her oldest daughter, Gia Giudice, recently moved to an apartment in Jersey City, while Milania Giudice and Gabriella Giudice attend college out of state.
Speaking with The Daily Dish, Teresa revealed that Florida is still on her mind for the future.
“Well, Audriana wants to go to college in Florida … and Milania is in Florida, [and] I hate the cold weather,” said Teresa. “I mean, I love Jersey, but not in the winter.”
She wants to do “half and half” between Florida and New Jersey.
“Now it’s only four of us in our house … and it’s a huge house, and it’s, like, only the four of us,” she said. “So, we’ll see what happens. Like when Audriana moves out and goes to college, you know?”
At a BravoCon panel, Teresa and Alexia were asked how they think they would do on the other’s show.
“[Teresa would] totally fit in Miami,” said Alexia.
“I think I’d rather go to Miami,” Teresa added. “I would love that … So, we’ll see what happens.”
Last year, Teresa told The Daily Dish that she and her husband were scoping out homes out of state.
“We’re looking at properties now,” she said at the time. “So even if we get something now, and eventually — when Audriana’s done with high school — then we’re going to do six months and six months. Like, six months in Jersey, and then six months wherever we pick….just warm weather all year round, yes! That’s what I want!”
