Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kathy Hilton revealed that her husband, Rick Hilton, fired his shotgun amid their terrifying home invasion in November, as Kathy shared more details about the break-in.
At BravoCon 2025, burglars broke into Kathy’s mansion while her husband was still inside. Presumably, the burglars assumed no one would be home. During the conference, the home of Kathy’s co-star Sutton Stracke was also broken into, as burglars stole fine jewelry and luxury handbags.
In an interview with Extra, Kathy addressed the break-in.
“They came in, broke the glass, and it was raining and our security guy was down at the guest house,” said Kathy, who added that Rick heard commotion and “got a shotgun out.”
According to Kathy, there were three burglars, and they broke through the door of the primary bedroom; Rick confronted them, saying, “Get the f**k out of here. The police are on their way.”
“Then our [security] guy came up, they met, they ran out and then [Rick] started shooting the gun out of his office in the air,” added Kathy, who explained that her home now has high security. “If you touch anything… Carol came in today, and the whole house went off.”
Kathy was also asked about the upcoming drama of the new season.
“I don’t want to ruin it for anyone. I feel like this is the first time they haven’t let the cat out of the bag too much,” she said.
After BravoCon, Sutton addressed her own home invasion.
“On the morning of Saturday, November 15, I was notified by the Los Angeles Police Department that my residence had been the target of a home invasion earlier that day. The individuals involved entered through a kitchen window and stole all of my luxury handbags. They also took my fine jewelry,” said Sutton on November 18, speaking to OK! Magazine.
“Since [then], I have hired a 24-hour armed security team and replaced the existing property surveillance systems. I am cooperating fully with authorities as they continue their investigation,” she added.
Around that time, Sutton also shared “The Blessing of a Home from the Roman Ritual.”
“Visit, we beseech you, O Lord, this dwelling place, and drive far from it all the ensnarements of the enemy,” said the quote on Instagram. “Let your holy angels dwell in it to guard us in peace; and may your blessings be upon us always. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.”
