Demi Engemann seemingly confirmed she’s leaving Secret Lives of Mormon Wives after the latest season. Meanwhile, according to a report, the show is “working on a spinoff” in California.

Recently, Marciano Brunette sued Demi for defamation, claiming she falsely accused him of sexual assault. Demi’s accusation was the central focus of the new season, and some castmates questioned why she sent certain texts to Marciano after the alleged assault.

According to a source speaking to Deuxmoi, Demi is now leaving the show.

“[I] can confirm SLOMW is working on a spinoff show in California,” said the source, via @themormonwivesreport on Instagram. “Whitney was connected but now departing. Demi is also exiting after this season.”

Soon after, Demi reposted the report on her Instagram, seemingly confirming it’s true.

Last month, Demi’s co-star, Jessi Ngatikaura, slammed her on Instagram.

“What you are is a liar, you’re a bad person, you’re a bully,” said Jessi at the time, addressing Demi directly. “All of these things that you’re doing now by commenting and spiraling and crashing out are showing who you really are … Demi has been this person since day one. [Her husband] Bret is also this person.”

“They are bullies to their core. Demi is also a f**king liar. I’m sorry, I’m just gonna say it. She was not sexually assaulted. There is so much proof that I have heard about, other people have heard about, and her story keeps changing, and I’m f**king done with giving her a platform to act like a victim when there are actual real victims out there,” she went on. “[She’s] a true narcissist … And I will speak on my experience with her: Demi is a bad person. You will never catch me filming with her again.”

Around that time, Lisa Vanderpump (Marciano’s boss on Vanderpump Villa, where Demi and Marciano first met) addressed the allegations.

“Oh, I categorically know what happened, because we have cameras everywhere, and I’ve seen every ounce of the footage,” shared Lisa, speaking to Access Hollywood. “So I think when the women are doubting [Demi], I think they’ve got very good reason. [Regarding] any allegations against Marciano, I have the luxury of having all the footage.”
