Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Crystal Kung-Minkoff is opening up about her first BravoCon experience. Plus, she and Cynthia Bailey are weighing in on Luann de Lesseps‘ tension with Erika Jayne and Dorit Kemsley

Crystal, 42, joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2021 for its 11th season. Her first BravoCon was the following year, and it took place in New York City. She announced her exit from the show in April 2024.

The former RHOBH star made her comments about BravoCon during a recent episode of the Humble Brag podcast, which she hosts with Cynthia, 48. She dished, “I was told at my first BravoCon that ‘we are Beverly Hills and we keep to ourselves as a group.'”

She went on, “That was told to me when we got there.” Crystal went on to discuss how this made her feel, saying, “So I remember feeling very isolated, like, I was, and I think that’s that feeling of standoffish.” She also said she didn’t know where the idea of the RHOBH cast keeping to themselves came from, beyond who told her.

Cynthia then asked, “Is that person still on the show?” Fans in the comments of the clip responded, with many of them having their own guesses as to who told Crystal to stay away from other Bravo personalities.

One person said, “I bet it was Kyle because her interactions with other Housewives are weird and you never see her hanging out or being photographed too much with Housewives from other franchises.” Someone else said, “Y’all say Erika, but I actually think it is Kyle.”

Another RHOBH fan wrote, “This absolutely 100% gives Erika. Wasn’t it also her that told Crystal we don’t eat on camera. Sounds like Erika loves to make up rules.”

Cynthia and Crystal also weighed in on Luann’s squash that beef from BravoCon, where she was supposed to hash out her issues with Erika, 54, and Dorit, 49. This stemmed from the former Real Housewives of New York star saying they were the rudest Bravo stars.

Crystal said, “That felt very awkward.” Cynthia gave insight as she was there for it, saying that Luann has no problem calling people out and that she “just doesn’t hold on to things.”

This led Crystal to say, “That’s actually the major difference between I think old New York and Beverly Hills.” She then reflected on her time on RHOBH, saying, “Everything was taken so seriously. It was so heavy all the time, and like it would never end.”

She continued, “Like, old RHONY they like cut each other and then like hug it out and have a shot. It’s so different, and I think that is way more fun and better. Like you could tell the energy between those three, it was really awkward.”
