Former Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes may be returning to Bravo. Not for the show that made her a star; instead, she could be one of the cast members on The Real Housewives: Ultimate Road Trip.
Andy Cohen first announced The Real Housewives: Ultimate Road Trip during the “Ask Andy” segment at BravoCon 2025. The show will celebrate 20 years of Housewives by featuring beloved cast members traveling to memorable locations from the franchise. It’s set to premiere in 2026.
Page Six is reporting that NeNe is “in talks” to appear on the upcoming series. This news arrives after Andy confirmed at BravoCon 2025 that he and NeNe had been in touch in recent months. Additionally, the former RHOA star has seemingly returned to NBCUniversal’s good graces, as she has hosted for E!.
So far, neither NeNe nor her representatives has responded to the report from Page Six. Regarding The Real Housewives: Ultimate Road Trip, some of the cast members have already been confirmed. Specifically, Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson says she will be featured.
While on the December 16 episode of The Viall Files podcast, she said, “I’m going to do the Girls Trip like four days before that. So, I’m going on the girls’ trip January 18th through the end of January.”
This part of the interview came after the hosts asked when RHOC season 20 would begin, and she said it would be “mid-February.”
Naturally, there are tons of rumors regarding who else may sign on for the show. Insiders have told MCFP (Mary Cosby Fan Page) on X that four people have signed on so far. They are Vicki, Kyle Richards, Gizelle Bryant, and Teresa Giudice. However, per the report, Kim Zolciak, Karen Huger, Meredith Marks, and Luann de Lesseps have been asked.
That’s not all. Other reports say that while the main cast will consist of only OGs, the show will feature other long-running cast members in various capacities. One name that has been mentioned who may join the show in a more limited role is Monique Samuels. Reports indicate she may join the rest of the ladies for a party.
MCFP said on X, “Real Housewives Ultimate Road Trip Scoop🚨Regarding what ‘The Neighborhood Talk’ said about Monique joining the show, it’s not in the way that people think! According to my source, the main cast consists solely of OGs! Monique is in the process of signing, regarding another aspect of the show!”
“My source said that some other VETs/OGs will be flying to an iconic landmark in the Housewives universe for a party with the OG main cast, which is what I heard Monique is signing for. #RHUGT #RHIP”
