Dorinda Medley shared that Southern Charm’s Salley Carson “wasn’t that friendly” at BravoCon 2025. The Real Housewives of New York star hinted that the 30-year-old was more “preoccupied with” her Instagram and wore “sunglasses” at night, as Craig Conover reacted.
On the new season of Southern Charm, Salley pursued a relationship with Craig, who didn’t seem as interested. At one point, Salley appeared to discourage her friends from flirting with Craig, even though they were all single.
On her radio show, SiriusXM’s Reality Checked, Dorinda shared her thoughts about Salley while interviewing Craig.
“I’ll be honest with you, Salley wasn’t that friendly at BravoCon,” said Dorinda.
“Well, I have no, I’m not, she’s always been friendly to me,” said Craig, who claimed he sees Salley as a “friend and a sister.”
“I was surprised because, you know, I’m very friendly to everyone,” Dorinda added.
“Oh, she wasn’t friendly to you?” asked Craig.
“No, I was very surprised,” said Dorinda. “I was on the bus with her a couple times. I think she was very preoccupied with her look and Instagram. … I’m going to get in trouble again. I told you I can’t help myself. No, I don’t dislike her. I sat with Madison LeCroy, and Madison was with her. And, you know, [Salley had] sunglasses on at 7:00 [at night].”
Craig admitted that the sunglasses “bothered a lot of Housewives.”
“I mean, what?” said Dorinda. “I was like, ‘Who is she?’ And [my co-host Kiki Monique was] like, ‘She’s on this season.’ Where?”
Craig added, “The Housewives were not having the newbie wearing sunglasses at night.”
Last month, former castmate Taylor Ann Green reacted to a fan who compared her to Salley.
“Totally.. cuz I’m capable of manipulating a doctor into cheating on his wife,” wrote Taylor at the time on social media, seemingly accusing Salley. “And fully dating someone the entire time they were filming this past season while also trying to hook up with both Craig and Austen … ‘I’m a girls girl, I would never do that to [Paige DeSorbo].’ Yeah it’s totally giving Taylor energy. Gtfo.”
