Carl Radke addressed his trip to London with Venita Aspen and shared an update on their romance. The Summer House star also revealed where he stands with his ex-fiancée, Lindsay Hubbard, and he recalled their surprising interaction at BravoCon.
In recent months, fans have been speculating on Carl’s romance with the Southern Charm star. Last week, they both hopped the pond for London, sparking rumors that they went together.
On Housewives Nightcap, Carl hinted at where he stands with Venita.
“We’ve been talking … we’ve had fun,” he said. “I mean, it was middle of November [when] we went on the date. She came to Soft Bar. We went to a restaurant in Brooklyn, had a really nice time. And there’s a lot to talk about, between two shows that have been going back and forth. No, she’s awesome. She’s really sweet. We hung out in November. I saw her again in December at an event where we all were there.”
“And I was just in London for Bravo and Peacock for English Premier League Soccer. She was there,” said Carl, who explained that Bravo (not Carl) invited Venita to England. “We’ve been friendly. It’s nice, but I got a lot going on, so … I’m trying to take my time. I got a lot going on. So, you know, she lives in Charleston, I live in New York City. So we’ve all seen how that goes.”
In an interview for Morgan’s Pop Talks, Carl was asked if he and his ex, Lindsay, are in a better place.
“I think so,” he said. “At least that’s what it feels like. It felt really good at BravoCon. You’ll see on this next season [of Summer House], I think some things … lended itself to being in a better place. Me and Lindsay definitely had a better summer for sure. Like it felt really good.”
“She wasn’t around as much because of the baby and just being in New York, but she was in the house, and we had some fun,” he explained. “I remember vividly laughing at some jokes that people forget. Maybe they don’t.”
At some point, Carl hinted at what wasn’t shown on Summer House.
“I’ve known Lindsay since 2016. For the first four years of Summer House, we used to basically ride in the car every weekend to the Hamptons back and forth. And what’s not shown on Summer House is those car rides where you bond like crazy,” he said. “There’s a foundation of four and a half years of friendship and then two years of dating and being engaged. So we were friends way longer than we were together. So it’s been nice to kind of get closer back to the level of friendship.
“I don’t know where that will go in the future, but I remember at BravoCon … I went into the one room, and Kyle and Amanda were there, and I saw Lindsay. ‘Hey, how you doing?’ She came up, we had a hug, and I looked at Kyle, and I was like, ‘She’s hugging me,'” Carl recalled. “It was a really positive and healthy experience, and BravoCon kind of solidified that.”
