A fan leaked Carole Radziwill’s alleged DMs responding to her name showing up in the Epstein files. Meanwhile, her ex-friend, Bethenny Frankel, addressed Carole’s controversy.
Recently, Carole’s name was mentioned briefly in several documents related to Epstein. She apparently was friendly with Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged madam, Ghislaine Maxwell, who was convicted in 2021 for child sex trafficking. But Carole, who once starred on Real Housewives of New York, says she knew nothing of Maxwell and Epstein’s activities.
“I may or may not have been a little drunk last week and tagged Carole in my Instagram story that said ‘Why is no big bravo account talking about @Caroleradziwill being in the Epstein files?'” wrote fan account @noodleybrains on Reddit. “Cut to the next day, SHE RESPONDED TO MY STORY.”
In screenshots of the DM exchange, Carole allegedly wrote back, “Imagine thinking you know someone and then finding out she’s a monster. I have no idea who she’s writing to or what the tatler piece is, maybe they were reviewing my book? I haven’t seen her in nearly two decades. It’s sooo creepy. Thank you for letting me know. 🙏.”
In a different DM, Carole allegedly added, “Oh you posted it. I thought you were sending it to me. Okay.”
Carole later allegedly wrote, “I feel like some of the Ghislaine stories using my picture are click bait from MAGA upset that I called Trump out as a rapist on rhony in 2017. Which makes all of this even more disgusting by association.”
“I never knew Epstein,” Carole allegedly explained. “[Ghislaine] was living with another bf the whole time I knew her. Ted Waitt. Super rich guy but he seemed cool. I wonder why he isn’t in all her emails. The real powerful men will never be held accountable. It’s so f**ked up.”

Around the same time, Bethenny shared her own reaction to the news.
“[I’ve gotten] so many questions about this,” said Bethenny in an Instagram video. “So what I do know is that Carol has been friendly with many notable women, from Carolyn Bessette to Cassandra Grey, who was married to Brad Grey, a big manager in Hollywood, and she had a big beauty website. Christiane Amanpour.”
“But I do know that Carole has taken many opportunities to swipe at me, dig at me, speak negatively about me [after leaving RHONY],” she added. “She has certainly gone for it. And I’m not going to do the same. So, it’s not my business.”
