Brandi Glanville defended Jill Zarin amid her firing from a new reality show on E! after she posted an offensive video about Bad Bunny’s halftime show at the Super Bowl. Meanwhile, Heather Dubrow called Jill an idiot, and a resurfaced comment from Jill revealed her initial reaction to potentially getting “canceled.”
Shortly after Bad Bunny’s performance, the Real Housewives of New York star posted a video (now deleted) complaining about how it wasn’t in English. At one point, she said there were “literally no white people in the entire thing,” and she alleged that Lady Gaga looked unrecognizable.
In a February 10 post on X, Brandi addressed Jill’s firing.
“OK #1 I have a HUGE crush on Bad Bunny [and] I wanna be his Mrs. Robinson 💕 The [halftime] show rocked,” wrote Brandi. “My friend Jill Zarin has her own opinion & I don’t agree with it AT ALL.”
“But opinions aren’t wrong – they’re subjective,” she went on. “I want to watch Jill on TV explain herself & hopefully learn something. Or we can just keep watching ‘yes people’ afraid to share.”
Around the same time, Heather Dubrow reacted to a fan on Threads who wrote, “Jill Zarin is an idiot.”
“Beyond,” Heather agreed.

“This is my OPINION only on my account. Not FACT. Ally says I’m getting canceled which she says every time I post lol,” wrote Jill at the time. “Seriously though, how many times can I be canceled?? lol.”

On February 8, Jill first posted the offensive video.
“I just don’t think it was appropriate to have it in Spanish, and, quite frankly … grabbing his [groin] area … I think it was totally inappropriate,” said Jill at the time on Instagram. “You’ve got all these young kids watching the Super Bowl, and he doesn’t have to be grabbing himself every five seconds because he’s so insecure. Seriously.”
“I don’t speak Spanish. I would’ve liked to have known the words he was saying. To me, it looked like a political statement because there were literally no white people in the entire thing. I’m not taking a side, one way or the other,” she went on. “I think it was an ICE thing. I think that the NFL sold out, and it’s very sad.”
