Paige DeSorbo opened up about a chronic condition she has every four months, and she addressed how she froze her eggs. Paige also shared why she doesn’t bring up a certain person’s name in public, even though she could prove how “f**king crazy you are.”
At the end of 2024, Paige broke up with Southern Charm‘s Craig Conover, who claimed she blindsided him. Soon after the split, the Summer House alum stopped mentioning Craig on her podcast and interviews.
On the Broad Ideas podcast, Paige addressed a medical condition she faces.
“I also get so many UTIs, like chronic UTIs, so if I ever slept with someone and got a UTI, I was like, ‘I’m sorry, we’re not compatible,’” said Paige, via Us Weekly. “My most recent thing that I have been doing is I take a cranberry supplement twice a day and then I take an oregano supplement. And I’m usually on a pretty — like, every four months I’ll get one.”
“February I should get one but I haven’t yet,” she continued. “I don’t want to jinx it but also like, I’m trying this new regimen out. … And then I’ll have girls that DM me that have never had a UTI before in their lives and they’ll be like, ‘Is this just a normal thing that you’re walking around with during the day?’ And I’m like, ‘They are so debilitating.’ … In college, I used to be able to go to class, go to do whatever. As I got older, they would truly debilitate [me]. I wouldn’t be able to move off of the toilet literally, I’d have to pee every four seconds.”
Paige clarified that her romantic partners “most likely” aren’t causing the UTIs. Later in the episode, the star addressed freezing her eggs.
“I froze my eggs this year,” she said. “I’m a big proponent of freezing your eggs. I just feel like — even if it doesn’t work or something happens, it did give me a peace of mind immediately when I went and did it.”
“When I went to freeze my eggs, one of the whole spiels that they tell you is they can see exactly when you were the most fertile. And I think it’s like you’re 21, 21 to 25 or something,” she added. “I’m like, ‘Why wouldn’t anyone say, ‘Hey, freeze your eggs now and then you don’t have to think about it for 15 years?’”
Around the same time, Paige hinted at why she doesn’t bring up a certain person’s name in public.
“I feel like I’ve been in the position … so many times where I’m like, I could go to war with this person and truly prove them wrong in the court of public opinion. And I can bring up all these receipts, and I could show everyone just how f**king crazy you are,” she said on her Giggly Squad podcast. “But then I will have to live with any time someone googles your nameless name, I’m going to come up.”
“And I don’t want anything to do with you,” she added. “I don’t want to be like put together with you in a news article. I don’t want our names ever being in the same sentence.”
