Amanda Frances shared what happened behind the scenes while filming Netflix’s Selling Sunset – and addressed why she fired Davina Potratz. Meanwhile, Amanda also suggested she was “set up” by her castmates on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

On the current season of RHOBH, costars seemed to ambush Amanda as they questioned her money manifestation technique, which she teaches online. But Amanda is no stranger to reality TV. In a past season of Selling Sunset, the star hired Davina to sell her house in West Hollywood (before things went south).

On Virtual Reali-Tea, Amanda said she wanted to clear something up about Selling Sunset.

“Davina was my agent in real life. She helped me find my first Bel Air house, which Eddie and I leased the first year we lived together. So she was wonderful,” said Amanda. “And so she said, ‘You know, when you’re ready to sell your West Hollywood house, let’s do it on the show.’ I said, ‘Oh, that’s interesting.’ But the West Hollywood house wasn’t done. I was in the middle of ra enovation.”

“I finished the … renovation like six hours before the camera crew got there,” she went on. “So when I’m telling her I need more time before I’m ready to sell, it’s because I haven’t even enjoyed the house yet.”

But Amanda claimed there was a “big[ger]” issue.

“That final scene where I fired Davina – I [actually] fired her over six months before that,” said the star. “She [already] knew she was fired. When you see me sitting at my kitchen table, the house had already sold. I had people moving in on Monday. We filmed on a Thursday or Friday. … I did Selling Sunset a favor. They said, ‘We need you to do one more scene. We have to wrap up the story for Davina. Why didn’t you give her the listing?’ And I’m like, ‘Because she cares more about reality TV than being an agent.’ She was a good agent until we were filming.”

“She cared more about getting the selfie, in my house, of her rented Chanel outfit than she cared about actually helping me sell the house,” she said. “She let me know [the outfit] was leased.”

In an interview for Casual Chaos, Amanda suggested that her RHOBH costars set her up.

“I never felt uncomfortable having a vulnerable moment on camera. Vulnerability doesn’t bother me … [but it’s different] if you’re walking into a situation and you feel like it’s hostile, you feel like people don’t actually want to get to know you, you feel like you’re being set up almost in an odd way.”

“I don’t think anything I teach is really that so far out there,” said Amanda of her manifestation programs. “I think [costars] made assumptions about what it means to teach on manifestation, especially related to money. And I think they kind of ran with that.”
