Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador clapped back at Rodrigo Reyes’ BravoCon allegations, and shared more details behind the story. Meanwhile, Jeff Lewis revealed what actually happened.
On a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, Rodrigo (from Southern Charm) suggested that Shannon was the worst person at BravoCon, and described her as “very rude” and “condescending.” He claimed she was “talking a lot of crap” off to the side, and – according to his fiance Tyler Dugas – she complained about Rodrigo and Salley Carson having a better position in a fan room.
On Jeff Lewis Live, Jeff asked Shannon about Rodrigo’s claims.
“He said you were one of the rudest people he has met at BravoCon,” said Jeff.
“I heard that,” said Shannon. “First of all, no offense to Rodrigo: I have no idea who he is. And I was sent that clip, and I had [my daughter] Sophie with me. … Sophie said, ‘Mom, we were never even with him.’ Like he said I was whispering about him and throwing a fit. … I did my job and I was kind to everybody at BravoCon.”
“He said that you might have complained about a better position in the fan room,” Jeff added.
“The only thing that we improved, Jeff, was when you and I did the photo op. The lighting was horrible,” she explained. “So we had someone hold a light up because people wanted to get a good picture. So we actually made it better [for the fans].”
Jeff confirmed that this is what he and Shannon were “complain[ing]” about at BravoCon.
“Because the lighting was terrible,” said Jeff. “It was horrible. The pictures were terrible. We complained about the lighting, and then you and I stood off the stage, and people were loving the pictures because of it. So that’s the only time I felt like we were remotely disruptive.”
“But I wasn’t rude about it,” said Shannon. “[What Rodrigo said] did hurt my feelings because it’s like, gosh, I go out of my way to be kind to everyone … but I don’t know who [Rodrigo] is.”
“Maybe he thought you were talking about him, but you weren’t talking about him,” said Jeff. “I’m sure we were talking s**t about somebody.”
