Taylor Frankie Paul spoke out after Miranda McWhorter seemingly dissed Taylor’s mysterious scene with her ex-husband, Chase McWhorter, on the upcoming season of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
In the season three finale, Taylor seemed to go on a date with Chase. In the past, Taylor and Chase feuded after she shared his alleged involvement in the ‘soft swinging’ scandal of 2022. At the time, the two disputed how things went down.
Recently, Hulu released episode titles for the upcoming season. One is called “Taylor and Chase,” as a preview suggests they had a scene where he’s actually holding her, per @themormonwivesreport on Instagram.
Soon after, Miranda ‘liked’ a comment calling Taylor and Chase out.
“This is just so.. idk lol. Idk how people don’t consider Miranda’s feelings in absolutely nothing,” wrote a fan in the comments of a post about Chase “literally carrying Taylor.”
Miranda ‘liked’ the comment, seemingly agreeing that her feelings weren’t considered at all.
Later on (amid fan backlash), Taylor wrote a post of her own, saying, “Miranda, Chase and I are all friends and we’re all good. Period.”
In May 2025, Miranda addressed why she and another MomTok group member, Camille Munday, turned down SLOMW in season one.
“What people didn’t really know, it’s like how bad my marriage was struggling at this point. I mean, had I done season one, it would have been my divorce. And I think that would have been very difficult for myself and for my kids. That was the biggest reason,” said Miranda on The Viall Files, via PEOPLE. “There was still a lot of hurt there, so it didn’t make sense for me to put myself in a position at the time where I just didn’t know if I could really do that.”
“From the beginning, [production] had approached Camille and I, and Taylor. We had plenty of calls about it. I think another thing that people think is that it was like, when I had said, ‘Oh, maybe I’ll consider it if Taylor’s not on,’ the reason I said that was because this was during the arrest where they didn’t know if she could be on Mormon Wives,” she explained. “It was never like ‘Pick me or Taylor.’ Obviously, Taylor’s the obvious choice. I’m self-aware enough to know that. She makes great TV, so it was never that.”
