The truth about Summer House stars Amanda Batula and West Wilson hooking up has been revealed amid new details about her divorce plans with Kyle Cooke.
According to a new report, there is no truth to the rumors regarding Amanda and West hooking up.
“She is going out with friends,” an insider confirmed to US Magazine, insisting there’s no romantic involvement between Amanda and West.
Kyle, meanwhile, “hasn’t been seriously dating” since his marriage ended, but a source admitted he “tends to be a big flirt and enjoys meeting new people.”
“He’s leaning into the single life and having fun,” they shared.
Another source claimed Amanda and Kyle have no interest in knowing “details” about each other’s romantic lives as they move forward separately.
The couple announced their split after four years of marriage in January. In a joint statement, they wrote, “After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple. We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing.”
They added, “It feels ironic to ask for privacy during this time since we’ve always tried to be open and honest about our relationship, but your kindness and respect will go a long way as we try to navigate our next chapter.”
As for where the estranged pair stand, an insider spoke to US Magazine to explain they’re “on good terms” and “are friendly.” They also “communicate often” about Reese and Ryder, the two puppies they share.
“They both have custody of the dogs and trade off,” the insider stated.
The source also insisted Amanda’s “been mentally checked out of the marriage for a very long time,” which they noted explains “why they’re able to be in a relatively friendly place right now.”
While they are living separately, neither Amanda nor Kyle has made the move to officially file for divorce. A second source noted that, when they do proceed, they want the process to be “amicable” and “very mature.”
At BravoCon in November 2025, they put on a united front, even though they were clearly having issues behind the scenes. There was buzz about them splitting, which Amanda claimed she denied to protect Kyle.
“It’s hard to talk about something that you don’t have the answers to,” she said on the March 9 episode of Trading Secrets, via Vanderpod Recaps on Instagram. “It’s still hard to talk about it because it’s still, even my family asked me questions and friends, and it’s like, we don’t have all the answers. Especially then, [we] had no idea what was going on. And it was really hurtful that someone that was like, a close source, the couple, leaked information that was based of partial fact, but like was also inaccurate.”
While she wondered who was close to them that was leaking information, Amanda said she and Kyle were not divorcing, regardless of the rumors.
“That was never the case. And this is the one that came out right before BravoCon,” she stated. “I don’t even remember what the article said, that we were like going through a hard time or whatever it was. But yeah, it’s just, it’s like hurtful that these days, people feel like it’s a prize to be the first one to like leak something … That’s rude.”
She also insisted she planned to deny their split at first.
“I was like, you’ll find out when I’m ready to tell you. Even when there was like, a leak about me moving out, and I posted like, a silly Instagram Story about it,” she elaborated. “And I technically confirmed it, but I joked that I moved into a cardboard box. So I didn’t deny it. But I played into it a little bit because I was like, ‘We’re not ready to talk about this.'”
