Ciara Miller revealed that she was “fired” from her nursing job, as they were going to put her on “disciplinary action.” The Summer House star also addressed defending Venita Aspen, and she opened up about getting on an antidepressant.
Earlier this year, Ciara stood up for Venita on social media as fans criticized her. In the new season of Southern Charm, Venita called out Craig Conover over his controversial behavior. Many viewers defended Craig against Venita.
On More Life with Carl Radke, Ciara was asked if she still works as a nurse.
“No. I got fired last year,” she said. “I got fired in the top of 2025. … This is my first time being fired. They fired me via email.”
“They were just like, ‘[We’re] releasing your position. If you don’t reply, then we’ll consider yourself gone. If you do, then you’re going to be on probation or some disciplinary action,'” she went on. “I was like, well who’s going to reply [just] to be on disciplinary action? No one. But also, my boss was like, ‘Why are you here?'”
Later on, Ciara addressed standing up for Venita.
“I’m so sick and tired of reading [negative] comments [about her]. She can’t even have a f**king opinion without being crucified,” said Ciara, via @queensofbravo on Instagram. “Or they see her as a side character because she is the only Black girl on the show. There’s so much micro-aggressions that occur in her show. It’s really hard to be one person with a group full of white people who think they know what racism is. And to be in the South, which adds a whole other layer.”
At one point in the interview, Ciara recalled a phone call with her mom after getting on an antidepressant.
“My mom FaceTimed [me]. She’s like asking me about my day, and I was like, ‘Yeah, I went for a walk.’ … She goes, ‘You went for a walk?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah … I had to go to this place, so I just like walked there.’ And she was like, ‘I think your Prozac is working. … You literally just got four things done today. [And] you never walk.'”
“I was like … you might be right,” she said. “And then by June, she saw me in person, and she was like, ‘Oh, your Prozac’s really working.’ Like we were in Europe. Like I was having the time of my life in Italy.”
