Twelve days after Reality Blurb‘s exclusive report that Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, and Dolores Catania would be the three main cast members returning for season 15 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Bravo has confirmed the big news.
Taking to Instagram, Bravo wrote, “Is BACK better? #RHONJ is on display as Teresa, Dolores, and Melissa begin filming season 15 soon!”
In Reality Blurb’s exclusive report, an insider shared, “Fans long believed it would either be Teresa or Melissa due to all of the tension and issues that arose during season 14 with them refusing to talk to one another, but Bravo ended up bringing them both back. It absolutely helps that they made up off-camera and are now getting along as a family unit. Bravo stressed during the last season that something needed to change and the cast could not go on like this.”
The source explained that both Teresa and Melissa have “legions of fans,” and Bravo knew cutting either of them “wouldn’t make sense.”
“As far as Dolores goes, she’s always been neutral, but she’s absolutely a fan and network favorite,” they elaborated. “Bravo put her on The Real Housewives of Rhode Island not only because they enjoy her, but also due to her popularity. She’s easy to work with, pleasant, and was the only person able to navigate the very split cast of season 14 of RHONJ without taking sides.”
The source also confirmed, “Jennifer Aydin and Rachel Fuda are definitely gone.”
While news about Margaret Josephs wasn’t set in stone at the time, she did confirm her departure from the show earlier today.
“Hi guys, it’s the Marge. I’m dialing in,” she shared on Instagram. “I have to tell you something that might come as a little surprise to you, but not for me.”
“I’ve been thinking about a lot of different things, and I am moving on from the Housewives of New Jersey,” she continued. “Sorry, I don’t look a little more glamorous for you. I’ve been in the talks with the network and Andy Cohen since December. We’ve discussed it, and I think the timing is right.”
Margaret explained that a “lot of things have changed” in her life, but she confirmed she’s working on a new project.
She added, “I’m on the set right now, and I realized I have to spend more time with my family, work on my designing, and just take a break and move on.”
Margaret wrapped with expressing how grateful she was for the experience, sharing, “I also wanted to say I want to thank NBCUniversal, Bravo, Andy, our production company, my cast — the good and the bad — I really do love you all. I’m very grateful for this opportunity. This will not be the last you guys see of me on television. That’s not a threat, it’s a promise. And I’m excited for all the new opportunities, and I’m grateful for all of you for supporting me for all these years. And you will see me very, very soon back on your TV screens. Love you.”
