Summer House’s Paige DeSorbo seemingly shaded her ex, Craig Conover, as she addressed formerly dating her “biggest hater.” She also shaded men on reality TV who are “pretending” to be “somebody that you’re not.”

Paige broke up with Craig at the end of 2024. He’s been a main cast member on Southern Charm for over 12 years. After the split, some fans from Summer House and Southern Charm were divided on who to believe. At the time, Craig seemingly refused to shut down rumors that she was seeing another guy during their relationship.

“I’ve dated my biggest hater,” said Paige on Giggly Squad. “He was in my bed, and … you never go to sleep, like, peaceful. It’s truly so anxious because you’re like, ‘Not only do you low-key hate me, you also low-key want to be me.’ And that’s really terrifying.”

“I’ve truly watched so many men on reality TV and been like, ‘Okay, but that’s not who you really are. This is who you pretend to be on TV, and there’s going to come a certain time where the lines are blurred, and you’re going to go into a psychosis,'” she said later. “‘Because who are you? I don’t think you know who you are.'”

Paige called it “really unhealthy.”

“I think the longer you stay on reality TV, the more your mental health [declines],” she explained. “It’s the mental health of filming a television show where you are truly pretending to be somebody that you’re not.”

Her cohost and best friend, Hannah Berner, then reacted.

“When people do reality TV for like 10 years … some people are edited to be better than they are,” said Hannah. “So if you on TV are edited to be this great husband or this charming nice guy … then the person actually in their real life believes that’s who they are, and that’s when illness happens. … No one will villainize you more than a person who realizes that you have clocked who they really are.”

New episodes of Summer House air Tuesday nights on Bravo. The latest season of Southern Charm recently concluded.
