Amanda Frances reveals that she’s neurodivergent, and said she sometimes doesn’t perceive “social situation[s] correctly.” The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star also clapped back at her castmates’ criticism of her business.

In the new season, many costars have shaded Amanda continually over her money manifestation business, suggesting she presents a fake version of her life. They also slammed her for sharing her honest opinion that Dorit Kemsley perhaps shouldn’t speak negatively about PK Kemsley in public amid their divorce.

“I think it’s pretty clear I’m neurodivergent,” said Amanda on Reality with the King, via @byewighellodrama on Instagram. “I don’t have a super normal brain. So that means some of the time I don’t perceive a social situation correctly. And a lot of the time I don’t care if I’m perceiving a social situation correctly.”

“Social hierarchy is not in my value system. I don’t get it. I don’t understand it. It doesn’t make sense to me,” she said. “Networking doesn’t make sense to me. My brain and the way my brain works doesn’t do any of that. … I think all neurodivergent people, we can’t handle it because it feels fake to us. It freaks us out.”

Around the same time, Amanda wrote an Instagram post clapping back at her costars’ criticism of her business.

“You’re already manifesting. You’re just not doing it on purpose,” she wrote. “People hear ‘manifestation’ and think magic, denial, or delusion. What I am talking about here is metacognition — the ability to observe your own thoughts in real time.”

“Most people aren’t consciously thinking. They’re repeating the same tired stories about what’s possible + available for them,” she continued. “Neuroplasticity is your brain’s ability to rewire based on repeated thought patterns. The thoughts you practice become the pathways you default to. Over time, your thoughts become your reality.”

Amanda said her life doesn’t “look good” because she’s “fake.”

“It looks good because I got very, very good at observing my mind… and deciding what stays there,” she said. “It might be an unusual skillset for #RHOBH… but it’s absolutely revolutionized my life.”

New episodes of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills air Thursday nights on Bravo.
