Jen Affleck‘s husband Zac Affleck revealed what wasn’t shown on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season 4, as he addressed his feud with Whitney Leavitt – suggesting she does certain things “for cameras.”

In the new season, Whitney came hard at Jen (her competitor on Dancing with the Stars) after she forgot to congratulate Whitney for earning a spot on Chicago the Musical. Later on, Whitney showed up to meet Jen for lunch to discuss their issues – only to find Zac. In the scene, both castmates argued continually. Soon after, Whitney told her husband Connor Leavitt (Zac’s friend), who called Zac out and slammed his character.

In a recent video, Zac shared what wasn’t shown in the season.

“Did we ever stay at Connor and Whitney’s house [during the season]? No, we didn’t,” he said, via @katchats__. “We had our own home the whole time. We showed up, unpacked a U-Haul for the cameras, repacked it, and went back to our own house. So the whole narrative of, like, ‘Whitney let us stay over at her house’ [is] just not true.”

“It’s not a big deal, though. That wasn’t her fault. That was just the storyline,” he said. “[Also], when I went to go fill in for Jen at lunch, was I asked to do that the day of by someone other than Jen? Yes.”

But Zac owned that he was in “control” of everything he said during the scene.

“There was also a lot of that conversation that wasn’t included,” he added. “But again, could I have been a little more calm, a little more chill? Probably. Am I a fan of Whitney? No, I’m really not. A lot of the things you’ve seen, I feel like happened for cameras. Do I think she’s extremely talented? Yeah, I do.”

“I see why Connor is upset, of course. If anyone talked to my wife that way, [I would be] too,” he went on. “Although … if you go watch it back, I wasn’t screaming or yelling. Was I probably as nice or as civil as I could have been? Probably not. [There were] a lot of emotions at that time.”

Zac also admitted that he tried to make T-shirts featuring Jen and Whitney’s faces.

“Connor told me he couldn’t find a picture of his wife,” he said. “So anyways, I think they’re great. Obviously, there’s a lot bigger things going on right now with our group, and this is just all part of reality TV, but I also think part of having social media is just speak[ing] your truth, and some people are going to hate you, some people are going to like you, and you know what? I am okay with that.”
