A source claimed that Bravo is considering contingency plans amid Amanda Batula’s rumored romance with West Wilson, and they shared whether Summer House may get canceled. Meanwhile, Amanda’s former nemesis, Hannah Berner, seemingly shaded her with cryptic posts.
In a past season, Hannah feuded with Amanda and her husband, Kyle Cooke. According to Hannah, the feud ultimately led to her exit from the show.
Back in January, Amanda and Kyle confirmed their breakup. In the following months, rumors surfaced that Amanda is secretly dating their co-star, West Wilson, who once dated Amanda’s good friend Ciara Miller. Many fans are declaring themselves Team Ciara.
On March 30, Deuxmoi shared a report about Summer House amid the recent controversy.
“As rumors continue to swirl that Amanda Batula and West Wilson are romantically involved, the ripple effect may be bigger than just one storyline,” said the account on Instagram. “Sources tell Deuxmoi that the network is actively and swiftly exploring contingency plans behind the scenes, with multiple scenarios on the table depending on how this unfolds publicly and how fans react.”
“To be clear: this is NOT a cancellation announcement,” @Deuxmoi made clear. “It’s simply one of several options being discussed internally, including the potential end of ‘Summer House’ as we know it (as well as its spinoff, ‘In The City’), depending on possible fan blowback.”
The source also shared that castmates are upset.
“Tensions are running high behind the scenes,” said @Deuxmoi. “At this point, no one really knows when things will return to normal again, if ever.”
Meanwhile, Hannah Berner seemingly addressed Amanda’s drama on Instagram.
The star allegedly reposted a meme of 50 Cent eating popcorn. Above the photo are the words, “When someone says ‘You were right about them.'” At this time, the reposts are no longer on Hannah’s page.
Around the same time, Hannah allegedly reposted a TikTok about “revenge.”
“Just got revenge on someone who wronged me 6 years ago,” said the post, originally shared by @BryceBrown6 via @stephwithdadeets on Instagram. “Never relax mf, I’m coming.”
