Dakota Mortensen accused his ex, Taylor Frankie Paul, of “grabbing, scratching,” and “striking” him in a February 23 police report. Meanwhile, Dakota is set to film a new reality show with Taylor’s Secret Lives of Mormon Wives co-star Demi Engemann.
According to reports, cops were called after an incident in February involving alleged domestic abuse concerning Taylor and Dakota. In recent weeks, ABC canceled Taylor’s season of The Bachelorette after a 2023 video surfaced of Taylor throwing chairs at Dakota while her daughter cried in the background. Taylor was arrested after the 2023 incident, and she’s still on probation.
Page Six obtained a Draper City Police Department report from February 23, which indicated that Dakota’s friend told police that Taylor assaulted Dakota in the domestic violence incident.
Per the report, Dakota told authorities that there were “two incidents of physical assault involving grabbing, scratching, shoving, and striking.”
According to the report, Dakota was “apprehensive” to detail the incidents because of Taylor’s “high public profile,” and the authorities got photos of Dakota’s “neck scratches.”
Around the same time, Dakota and Demi are set to star in a new reality show from podcaster Alex Cooper‘s production company, Unwell. Unwell revealed that the co-stars are part of the cast for Unwell Winter Games, a new competition show.
“The four-episode series brings together 16 of the most polarizing figures in pop culture to compete in a series of mental and physical challenges over four days, filmed against the backdrop of a luxury chalet in Park City, Utah,” said the official description, via Us Weekly. “The show promises fierce competition, unexpected alliances, and the kind of unfiltered drama that has defined Unwell across its programming slate.”
The cast also will include Huda Mustafa from Love Island USA, Anna Delvey and Gleb Savchenko from Dancing with the Stars, Eyal Booker and Ekin Su Cülcüloğlu from Love Island, and Juliette Porter from Siesta Key.
Bachelor Nation’s Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile will also compete. Digital comedian Adam W. will be the host, and Grace O’Malley and Graydon Cutler will give commentary. The show airs April 6 on Unwell’s YouTube channel.
