RHOSLC’s Mary Cosby’s Estranged Parents Reveal She Was Initially Married to Another Man, Claim Robert Cosby Sr. Manipulated Their Daughter With Lies & Money and Want Her to be Free

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Mary Cosby’s parents are continuing to speak out in defense of their daughter.

As we previously reported, Mary’s parents believe she was “manipulated” and was made a victim by her step-grandfather turned husband, Robert Cosby Sr. Now, in a full-length interview with Up and Adam, Mary’s estranged parents, Rosalind “Rozie” Cazares and Mark Cazares, are sharing all the unknown details behind their daughter’s unconventional marriage.

Speaking to Up and Adam, Mark says Robert Cosby Sr. used Mary’s grandmother, aka “Mama” Rosemary Cosby, to acquire power within the church and earn the title of “bishop.”

Mary became estranged from her parents after marrying Robert Sr. with Mary saying her mother, Rozie, was jealous she was not Rosemary’s “chosen one.”

However, Rozie is debunking those claims. She says she was Robert’s first choice, but she couldn’t go through with the marriage because she felt he was a “sex addict” and a “freak.”

Rozie doubled down and argued why would Rosemary want her granddaughter to marry her husband when Mary was already married to a man named Dana. Rosemary had even officiated the ceremony.

Both Rozie and Mark believe that Robert Sr. is a “horrible” and “dangerous” person who lied to Mary and told her it was her grandmother’s dying wish for the two to wed. He eventually lavished her with gifts and isolated her from the rest of her family.

The couple wed just one month after Rosemary’s death, causing Mark and Rozie plus 400 others to leave the church altogether. They also insinuate that Rosemary dying “suddenly” was suspicious.

“Everybody knows what that means,” Rozie told the outlet.

Apparently, all Rozie and Mark want is to get Mary away from both the church and Robert. They added that Rosemary’s church is no longer the place where she “embodied everything good.” They even went on to allege that Mary joined RHOSLC to shine a light on her current situation.

The couple would not comment on Cameron Williams allegedly mortgaging his home for Mary’s church, but they did say “they were more than friends” and the late Cameron was an “honest” and “successful” man during the interview.

Mary’s parents say she is all bark and no bite, but they had stronger words about Robert. “You don’t wanna cross Robert,” Mark said.

The couple maintains they just want Mary to be free.
