Bethenny Frankel is one of the most influential cast members from the Real Housewives of New York series. However, just as when she was on the show, she can’t seem to stay out of hot water. Recently, Bethenny has come under fire for purchasing a phallic dessert with her daughter, who happens to be only 13.
Fans will recall that Bethenny was just called out for her dieting advice that told fans to “taste everything and eat nothing.” Before that, she came under fire for her comments about the Super Bowl, and she was even blasted by Travis Kelce’s dad.
But this might be the worst thing Bethenny has been called out for in a while. She and Bryn took a trip to Australia. Of course, they explored quite a bit while there.
The problem is that Bethenny shared photos online, and among the snacks and souvenirs they bought was a dessert that was multicolored and shaped like a penis. As mentioned before, Bryn is only 13, which means this is inappropriate on every level.

The caption from the post reads, “To be able to turn a work trip into a mother daughter bonding trip and travel experience means I have worked to create a life that dreams are made of.”
She also references the penis dessert by saying, “Exploring all that Melbourne has to offer and can’t wait to show you more of this adventure. We are so happy here! PS. The food scene here is incredible, and let’s just say we got more than we bargained for…👀🙈🌈”
Bethenny seems to have edited out the last part of the caption. The original caption above was reported by Page Six. Of course, many fans didn’t see this as being appropriate.
One commenter had this to say, “Love me some Bethenny and Peanut and was so enjoying these images until… Ugh, was that last one necessary? I know it’s a joke, but I don’t see myself handing that to my young daughter…”
Someone else said, “Confused about the last pic and trying to set an example for your young daughter.”
However, some fans saw the photo as harmless.
“Just because you guys have hyper-sexualised the human body/ an organ doesn’t mean everyone does…relax.”
Another said, “My sons made a penis cookie with leftover Christmas cookie dough at my parents one year. My mom thought it was funny! Bethenny’s daughter is going to be fine. No harm done.”
While opinions are divided, it seems that most people agree that this wasn’t appropriate for Bethenny to do.
