Fans accused Larsa Pippen of looking unrecognizable in a recent pic with her Real Housewives of Miami co-star Stephanie Shojaee. Last month, Larsa clapped back at critics speculating she had too much plastic surgery and/or fillers.
At the time, Larsa said her face was swollen due to an allergic reaction to PRP injections. She also suggested the photo was perhaps altered. On social media, multiple plastic surgeons — unaffiliated with Larsa — suggested there was no way she had an allergic reaction.
On September 8, Redditor u/Hungry_Ad_3439 posted a more recent photo of Larsa with her good friend Stephanie.
“I’m so confused,” wrote the Redditor about the photo, originally posted by Larsa on Instagram. “There’s no way this is Larsa!! What’s going on with her face? Not trying to be mean, but how is this her!?”
Fans then reacted in the comments.
“Dang what filter is that. 20x?” wrote one user.
“Both of them look like different people,” said another.
“Holy facetune,” wrote a third.
“Larsa went overtime with the face tune,” echoed a fourth.
After last month’s controversial picture, Dr. Jennifer Armstrong from Real Housewives of Orange County addressed Larsa’s explanation.
“This is not an allergic reaction,” expressed the cosmetic dermatologist at the time on Instagram. “The ever-changing face … Her face keeps changing, and she stated that she had an allergic reaction to PRP, which is actually impossible because PRP is when you take your own blood, spin it down, and put the growth factors back into your face. It just came out of your bloodstream, so you can’t be allergic to something that just came out of your bloodstream.”
“[And] you don’t get PRP in your lips,” she went on. “This is filler. This is so much filler. It’s just like widening her face, creating this nasal labial fold … When you put all this filler in the mid face, it creates a nasal labial fold … It’s too much filler in the wrong place.”
Jen also speculated that Larsa “probably [had] Botox” on her forehead.
