Lisa Barlow addressed the psychic’s mysterious claim about her marriage to John Barlow in a trailer for the new season of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. The star shared why it “hit me” so hard, and hinted at other ways the psychic was “spot on.”
In the trailer, a psychic asked Lisa – seemingly out of nowhere – why she feels she’s “rebuilding trust” with John. Lisa began to cry as she whispered, “I don’t know.”
On Virtual Reali-Tea, Lisa was asked about the bizarre scene.
“I think that the psychic hit something…” said Lisa, before choking up. “I think when you’re married for a long time — oh gosh, like, I don’t want to get emotional … John Barlow is my person — but I think like for me, it just hit me like, ‘Oh my gosh, what if we’re not on the same page?'”
Lisa then wiped tears from her eyes.
“I think that there was a part of me that was sad because when the psychic said that … I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, this is crazy. You’re talking about John,'” she explained. “He brought up other very specific things, and I was like, oh my gosh, how do you even know this? Like it’s not something John and I would talk about.”
“I thought that hit pretty hard,” she continued. “And then what he said about my friendships, too, like, was pretty spot on. And I think that, coupled with each other, was super emotional. But marriage is like a big deal. You commit to a person. My parents were married for 38 years before they got divorced.”
Lisa shared that there’s “a lot of divorce” in her family.
“On my mom’s side, there’s no one that’s married, and like all of my sisters are divorced,” she said. “And I think when you see that happening around you … it’s worth working really hard at my marriage … John’s my person.”
Before the current season, Lisa mended her friendship with Meredith Marks, but she was still in a bad place with Whitney Rose. New episodes of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City air Tuesday nights on Bravo.
