More details have emerged in the ongoing situation involving Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams and what went down on her Delta flight. Now, it’s being reported that things became violent between the reality star and another passenger.
Regarding the flight, Porsha was on her way back from Las Vegas to Atlanta after BravoCon. The plane landed as expected, and the RHOA star was later seen at the airport, interacting with fans, speaking with police officers, and generally acting as if nothing had gone wrong.
Now, according to The Sun, the police have learned learned that things became violent between Porsha and another female passenger. The police officers were alerted to the incident at around 9:20 p.m. on November 16. Per the report, “Upon arrival, officers made contact with two females who may have been involved in the dispute.”
It continued, “Preliminary investigation indicated that both parties may have been involved in a verbal dispute that reportedly escalated into a physical dispute during an inbound flight to Atlanta. Both parties were separated on the scene and interviewed by officers. Officers obtained victim/witness statements and forwarded them to the FBI.”
It’s also worth noting that the FBI became involved in the case on November 17 after the Atlanta Police Department initially handled it. The agency has jurisdiction over the matter as it happened while the plane was airborne. Additionally, neither Porsha nor the other person was taken into custody, and it’s unclear whether they will face federal charges.
Now, there’s also bodycam footage of Porsha discussing the incident. “So, the Instagram was on and she told me, ‘Am I gonna have to listen to that?'” Porsha said. “And I said, ‘Do you want to?’ And she said, ‘No.'”
Porsha went on, “I said, ‘Okay, you know, there was a nicer way you could have said that.” From there, Porsha stated that the other woman began to use profanity, including saying, “Who the fu** do you think you are?” She then stated that she asked the crew to get the lady away from her.
The other involved party also gave her side of the story. She started by alleging that Porsha assaulted her, asking, “Before I say anything, I want to know, is my information going to be given to the woman who assaulted me because I’m afraid for my life.”
The police officer confirmed that her information wouldn’t be shared with Porsha. The woman then stated that Porsha was the last person to board the plane, and things were normal at first. However, the RHOA star spent 25 minutes scrolling through Instagram without headphones, prompting the lady to confront her about the noise. She said the volume was on “full blast.”
She went on, “So, I waited 25 minutes — give her time, let her do whatever she needed to do, and then I said, ‘Am I going to have to listen to that the whole time?’ And she said, ‘Do you like it?'” The woman told Porsha she didn’t like it, leading Porsha to tell the lady she didn’t like the way she confronted her.
The lady continued, “And the next thing I know, there’s a fingernail so close to my eye that I thought I was going to be physically attacked. She had her hands in my face, screaming, calling me crazy.” From there, the woman stated that she tried to film Porsha, but Porsha knocked her phone down the plane’s aisle. It’s important to note that Porsha says the woman dropped her phone and then tried to accuse her of hitting her.
She added, “Here’s what I’m afraid of — I’m afraid she’s going to have me killed.”
Porsha also confirmed that she cussed at the lady, recalling that she said, “Get your ugly a** away from me.” The RHOA star also said that one of the stewardesses told her she couldn’t use profanity. Porsha says the lady was “irate” and that they moved her to another seat. She also stated that the incident was only verbal.
