Craig Conover hinted at his unaired fight with Austen Kroll before their on-screen confrontation, and he shared that Shep Rose once DM’d a woman Craig later dated. He also seemingly suggested that Whitney Sudler-Smith made newbie castmate Whit Slagsvol go by “Whitner” on Southern Charm.

In a recent episode, Austen and Craig had an explosive argument at Whitner’s birthday party, seemingly after Austen made snide remarks about Craig under his breath. At one point, Craig accused Austen of saying he was jealous that Craig was single.

On SiriusXM’s Reality Checked, Craig seemingly suggested that Whitney made Whit Slagsvol go by “Whitner” on the show.

“He’s never been ‘Whitner’ to me, he’s just ‘Whit,'” said Craig. “But I guess Whitney was like, ‘You’re not Whit. I am.'”

He then shared what wasn’t shown before his argument with Austen.

“Austen and I got in a huge fight right before the party, and they just deemed it too ‘fourth wall,’ so they like cut it,” Craig revealed. “So by the time Whitner’s party happened and Austen like chirped me and I freaked out, I was like, there was a two-hour fight before that where like I made Austen promise that he wasn’t going to do this, and producers were like, ‘What, guys, this is so fourth wall.'”

“It was about like some new cast members… and so a lot of times the viewer doesn’t get all of that context,” he added. “You just have to be okay with it, but sometimes it is fun to talk about it and be like, ‘Guys, we didn’t just show up to this party and just scream at each other.'” He then suggested that eight hours of filming can sometimes be cut down to “two minutes.”

Later on, Craig shared that Shep in the past had texted a woman before Craig started “talking to” her.

“I was talking to a girl a couple months ago, and she was a really sweet girl, and she played this game where she was like, ‘Let’s see if anyone on your show has slid into my DMs before,’ and went through, and it was like, of course Shep had,” said Craig. “She was like, ‘What are the names of the people on your show?’ And she typed in Shep, and it said like, ‘Hey.'”

As for where he stands with Salley, Craig said he’s “always” seen her as a “friend and a sister.”

The host, Dorinda Medley, then shared that Salley “wasn’t that friendly” to her at BravoCon. “I was surprised because, you know, I’m very friendly to everyone,” she explained. “I was on the bus with her a couple times. I think she was very preoccupied with her look and Instagram … I was like, ‘Who is she?'”
