Venus Binkley slammed Scheana Shay’s “hater energy,” and he claimed she walks around SUR like she’s “better than everyone.” The Vanderpump Rules newbie also called her “entitled,” and he revealed whether Scheana still goes to SUR after her falling out with Lisa Vanderpump.
In the new season, fans are finally seeing the new cast, who completely replaced the original stars. Last year, Scheana shaded Lisa in her new memoir, suggesting that Lisa manipulated her for the show.
On Sirius XM’s Page Six Radio, Venus was asked if Scheana mingles with the new cast.
“I’ve had no fun times with Scheana,” said Venus. “You know, I just get hater energy from her, and also when she comes into SUR, she kinda walks around like she knows she’s famous and she’s better than everyone.”
“And I’ve been working there for years,” he continued. “And so when the OGs come in, and we’re all just servers and then all of a sudden now we’re … on the show, I don’t forget nothing that you’ve ever done in SUR.”
Host Evan Real asked if Scheana still stops by SUR after her falling out with Lisa Vanderpump.
“She doesn’t come into SUR,” he answered. “I don’t think she’s a bad person or nothing. Like, I don’t know her like that, enough to give that opinion, but I just know from … the energy she brings … I don’t vibe with it.”
Venus shared that he and some of the new cast watched Pump Rules before they began working at SUR.
“So did you have a different opinion of Scheana before you saw her IRL at SUR? Were you a fan at one point?” asked Evan.
“Oh, no, I was never a fan,” he said. “I always thought she was like a pick-me, but in person, she gave very much entitled … I was like, ‘Oh, okay. So you’re that girl.’ … Stassi [was my] number one.”
In the same interview, Shayne Davis shared that he’s friendly with Jax Taylor. Both men have been open about their sobriety journeys.
“I lift with Jax here and there,” said Shayne. “It’s kind of the only thing that we really like chat about, you know? I think at this point in his journey, he’s not super interested in talking about showbiz … I think that if Jax stays on this path, he will redeem some of the things that have happened. But through Jax, I got to meet Tom Sandoval, Tom Schwartz, both super cool dudes.”
Shayne then hinted that Jennifer Lawrence, who said she hasn’t watched the Pump Rules reboot, should give it a chance.
Venus agreed, “People think that we’re replicating the OG cast. There is no comparison. Everyone’s so different. It’s just in the same setting as the original cast. But if you like reality TV, if you were able to just start a new Housewife franchise and be obsessed with it, like Salt Lake City, I would say this is the exact same energy as you’re starting another version of Vanderpump, which is like another version of Housewives. And you’re gonna crave it the way that you crave New Housewives shows.”
