Scheana Shay declared that her friendship with Lala Kent will not “be repaired,” as she seemingly suggested she’s a “snake.” The Vanderpump Rules alum also recalled her convo with an executive producer at BravoCon 2025.
Ahead of The Valley season three, Scheana revealed her falling out with Lala. Though Lala joined the full-time cast of the new show, Scheana declined to film despite her friendships with other co-stars.
On her Scheananigans podcast, Scheana recalled her recent convo with Jeremiah Smith, an executive producer and show runner for The Valley.
“Jeremiah came up to me at BravoCon,” she said, via @breakingtherulespodclips on Instagram. “But [he] was just like, ‘So do you still think you made the right decision [not to film]?’ And I looked at him, and I said, ‘Abso-f**king-lutely.'”
“And I was like, ‘I’m still at BravoCon. I’m still Scheana Shay. I’m still enjoying all of this. But no, I’m actually really glad I didn’t do it,'” she continued. “And he was just like, ‘Oh.'”
Later on, Scheana addressed where she stands with Lala.
“That is not going to be repaired, because the year of the snake has been shed,” she said. “And one thing I’m doing moving forward is not going back. I now really genuinely understand boundaries. And [in] me setting that boundary specifically, I feel at peace. I don’t feel like I’m missing something. I feel like, why didn’t I do this sooner?”
Back in October, Scheana shared details behind their falling out.
“Lala knows why our friendship is in the state that it’s in, and … she did not take accountability,” Scheana stated at the time on Scheananigans, before referring to her husband’s past affair. “It was that not one but two of my closest friends repeated the Brock [Davies] affair story to other people.”
“One of those … it was repeated to Brittany,” she added. “I know Brittany doesn’t have bad intentions. I wanted to tell her myself. We didn’t have a chance. That one, I’m like, I can get over that. Lala told Jenna [Willis], who I have not been on good terms with since last season. … I told [Lala about the affair] in February. I found out a week before I left for book tour that she told Jenna around February.”
