Denise Richards’ ex Aaron Phypers was awarded $5,000 a month in spousal support from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, who was also ordered to pay $25,000 for his attorney fees.
After Aaron filed for divorce last year, Denise accused him of physical abuse, and she pointed to a past clip on RHOBH of him allegedly threatening to crush her hand. Since the filing, the exes have gone back and forth with various accusations. In October 2025, Aaron asked the court to award him spousal support. Denise and Aaron testified in court before the judge made a ruling.
TMZ obtained court docs showing that, on Wednesday, Denise was ordered by the judge to pay him $5,000 a month for temporary spousal support as the divorce goes on. Starting in March, she’ll have to pay it by the fifth of every month until the court says otherwise.
According to the documents, she must also pay him $25,000 for his attorney fees, and she must pay another $5,000 for a forensic accountant. She’s supposed to pay the $30,000 total in three installments of $10,000 by the end of March, April, and May.
On January 7, Denise reacted to a GoFundMe campaign that was launched by Aaron’s mom, Patricia, to raise money for him. In the campaign, Patricia apparently mentioned that Aaron had taken care of Denise’s youngest daughter.
“Say whatever you want about me, which they have. I’ll deal with that after the divorce. But when you cross a line and bring my youngest daughter into trying to get money from strangers — it’s outrageous,” said Denise on Misspelling, via Us Weekly. “That is wrong.”
“It’s hard enough going through a divorce and the loss of that, but then to discover who this person really is, that’s what is beyond hurtful,” she went on. “Then to go to this level, to bring my daughter into it. It’s more [of] a personal thing. It is shocking, but whatever. I’m not surprised.”
Denise hinted that she would reveal more details about their relationship after the divorce is finalized, saying, “I really want to get through my actual divorce, and then I will share.”
New episodes of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills air on Thursday nights on Bravo.
