Amid tons of backlash he’s getting for his behavior on this season of The Valley, star Danny Booko issued a public apology to his wife, Nia.
Taking to his Instagram Story, he wrote he’s “so sorry” to the person he loves “most,” his “beautiful wife.”
“Watching these last few episodes back hasn’t been easy,” he continued. “It was a difficult season of life and a version of myself that I’m embarrassed by and not proud of. A short fuse, stress, alcohol, and lack of sleep are never a good combination, but that’s not an excuse. I should never have taken any of it out on you.”
Danny noted that “balancing parenthood and life can stretch you in ways you don’t fully realize until you see yourself through a different lens.”
“I love, honor, and respect you deeply,” he added, “and I did not show that in some of these moments.”
“Nia, I love you so much,” Danny concluded. “I’m grateful for you, our family, and this beautiful, chaotic life we’ve built together. I thank God for you every day.”

While Danny was due to appear on Watch What Happens Live last night, he ended up being replaced by Tom Schwartz, which led to speculation that he was avoiding showing up due to how scrutinized he’s been this season.
Nia exclusively spoke with Reality Blurb earlier this week to clear up the rumors and explain why Danny wasn’t appearing on WWHL.
“Daniel got a great work opportunity on a huge new movie,” she revealed. “He’s so bummed to not be in NYC. He was planning on being there.”
Nia also divulged they tried to see if they could’ve made today work, where he would’ve flown into NYC quickly to tape the show and gone back home, but it “unfortunately didn’t work out.”
Danny also took to his Instagram Story to share why he wasn’t going to be on.
“A little change of plans this week,” he wrote. “Instead of heading to NYC for press, I’ll be staying in LA working on an incredible new project that came together last minute and was way too good to pass up.”

“Feeling very grateful and blessed,” Danny elaborated. “More to come.”
