Real Housewives of New York alum Jill Zarin is now getting slammed over a bizarre video of her complaining about a restaurant after apparently reading a sign wrong.
Earlier this year, Jill was fired from The Golden Life, an upcoming show with her former RHONY costars, because she posted an offensive video about Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show performance.
In a recent post, Jill uploaded a video complaining about her service at celebrity chef Alain Ducasse‘s restaurant in Japan.
“Okay, I finally I have something to complain about,” said Jill in a video she posted on Instagram. “I’m in a department store at an Alain Ducasse little post thing. I want to show you this, okay?”
She then pulled out two different ice creams. The chocolate ice cream was in a chocolate cone, and the vanilla ice cream was in a vanilla cone.
“I asked them if I can have a chocolate ice cream in this [vanilla] cone … She said no,” Jill stated. “I said, ‘Why not?’ No reason, just because. So, my girlfriend got vanilla in the [vanilla] cone and she says, ‘You know, I don’t mind. I wouldn’t mind the chocolate cone. Just swap them out.’ The answer was [still] no.”
“Maybe this is a Japan thing,” Jill continued. “Maybe this is an Alain Ducasse thing. But we’re going to tag you, Alain, and I would like to have an answer, please, on why the people who work for you can’t accommodate me. And the sign says ‘served in a cone or a cup of your choice.’ Well, my choice was to have chocolate in the vanilla cone. So, there.”
But according to a photo shared by @mrhousewives on Instagram, the sign does not say “a cone or a cup of your choice,” but rather “a cone or a cup, your choice,” meaning you can choose to have either a cup or a cone (but not choose the specific type of cone).
