One of the breakout stars of season 16 of The Real Housewives of New York City is undeniably Hailey Glassman.
Hailey, 39, is funny and unapologetically herself on the show.
One of the main points of drama to date has been her being accused of breaking up Jon Gosselin‘s marriage to Kate Gosselin.
While this was a major story in the tabloids years ago, Erin Lichy brought it up on RHONY in response to Hailey calling her boring behind her back.
“Listen, Hailey, I’d rather be boring than break up a marriage of a man who has eight children,” Erin said to her at a Passover Seder in front of the other women.
Hailey, for her part, has denied being a homewrecker, but she understandably got upset by what Erin said.
Now, in a new interview with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea, Hailey has claimed she paid Jon’s child support.
“I paid his child support for a very long time during that divorce,” she shared regarding her ex, Jon, 49. “Never got paid back, but it’s OK, Jon! I know you’re working through it. I love you forever.”
In June 2010, Radar Online reported that Hailey had loaned Jon $88,000 in October 2009.
As she explained on RHONY, Hailey initially met Jon when she was a teenager. Her dad had done Kate’s plastic surgery, and her mom had become family friends with Jon.
When Hailey was 22, her mother encouraged her to date Jon. They officially began dating in June 2009, which was the same month Jon and Kate, 51, announced they were separating.
They ended up splitting up in October 2009, largely due to the amount of publicity their relationship was garnering.
The pair are on good terms, though, as Hailey shared that they’ve been “family ever since,” and she’s spending Thanksgiving with him and his new wife.
In the interview, something else she has talked about on RHONY, namely, having her nose broken by a woman’s breast, came up.
Shockingly, Hailey admitted that some of the Housewives have DM’d her to say they’d like their breast to be the next one to break her nose, but she wouldn’t reveal who has said that.
