Many of the women on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City are going through problems with their relationships.
Specifically, Bronwyn Newport, Angie Katsanevas, and Whitney Rose all split from their husbands.
Today, Page Six confirmed that Whitney, 40, finally pulled the trigger to end things for good as she officially filed for divorce from Justin Rose, 58.
Whitney submitted paperwork to Salt Lake City’s Third District Court yesterday, officially filing after almost 17 years of being married to Justin.
While the outlet noted that documents filed within a divorce are private in the state of Utah, they did reveal she submitted a plan for parenting the two children they share.
Last month, Whitney spoke with USA Today and got candid about what’s going on in her life.
“It’s been a busy year. A lot of change, a lot of good change, hard change,” she stated. “Justin and I are recently separated and working all of that out and figuring out next steps, but I have a lot of exciting news that will break at the end of this year for Wild Rose Beauty. So I got my business back, been working hard on it. But yeah, it’s been a lot of change.”

“On the show, [there are] lots of new dynamics,” she continued. “We have a new friend that comes on, and I have history with her. Lots of ups and downs with the women. I don’t know if you saw, I did a drag brunch and kind of got myself in a little bit of trouble. An apology tour.” She also hinted at “lots of crying.”
At the time, she noted she was not currently dating anyone.
“We’re just enjoying the separation and figuring out next steps right now,” she explained. “I want fans to know that I’m good. I’m happy. Like, I’m turning 40 this month. I’m feeling myself. I’m vibing. I love it.”
She also spoke with Us Magazine, sharing more details about her separation from Justin.
“So Justin and I, we share two places. We share an apartment and a home. And he and I rotate between the two, so the kids stay in our primary home,” she said. “So their routine hasn’t changed, their life doesn’t change, they have their bedrooms, they have their friends.”
“But Justin and I work together, we co-parent, we do everything together,” she elaborated. “So from the kids’ perspective, I would imagine, I mean, based on their feedback, it’s more peaceful.”
Whitney also stated the pair are working on their “next steps.”
“For our marriage, right now we’re working through next steps and talking through that and what that looks like,” she said. “For the business, Wild Rose Beauty, we got it back, we’re selling. And I have a huge announcement at the end of the year. I’m so excited. And Justin very much helped me do that. And so that was a very healing thing for us, to rebuild it together. But next steps, right now we’re just taking it day by day. … We’re focused on the kids and the business and just putting a pause on our marriage.”
“Everything that you see unfold this season happened in real time,” she continued. “I didn’t hold anything back [about our relationship]. I shared everything that I felt was safe to share and that would protect my children.”
She also revealed the exact timeline of their separation, noting that in February she had moved to a guest bedroom and that “at the end of May” they separated.
“I mean, we’re very codependent. We do everything together, and to me, that was a big move. Just stating that I need space, and that I’m going to take a step in the direction of creating separation and space, was a huge step for me,” she divulged. “[Staying in the guest room] served its time and place, [and by May, I understood] that I need to take the next step toward separation.”
