On this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Bronwyn Newport‘s house came under scrutiny.
Specifically, viewers questioned whether Bronwyn, 41, was ever on the deed to the house she shared with her estranged husband, Todd Bradley, 68, after she claimed she met with him to sign paperwork to sell the house.
Friend of the housewives Britani Bateman, who is a realtor, pulled up the deed of the house and showed Heather Gay and Whitney Rose that Bronwyn’s name was not on it, thus questioning if she actually owned the house and pointing out how Bronwyn’s story didn’t add up.
In a confessional, Heather, 52, questioned Britani’s deduction skills, referring to her as “Inspector Gadget” and implying she didn’t necessarily understand the entire picture when she was sharing the intel on the house.
When she appeared on Watch What Happens Live after the show, Heather doubled down on her thoughts about Britani, 55, and the evidence she showed.
In the wake of this, an insider exclusively told Reality Blurb how Britani felt about what Heather said.
“Heather insulting Britani on last night’s RHOSLC seemingly came out of the blue,” a source stated. “Britani has always considered Heather to be a friend, and Heather has always been one to go to bat for Britani. Heather sat at that table like a pig in s*it listening to Britani’s information about Bronwyn – which was pretty undeniable, given that Britani was showing actual records – and then Heather turned around and basically insulted her intelligence, referring to her as ‘Inspector Gadget’ and insinuating she didn’t have the entire story.”
The source noted Heather had the “ability” to backpedal on WWHL but chose not to and instead “doubled down on it.”
“This definitely was hurtful to Britani and has her and fans questioning if all the rumors about Heather not being who she seems are true,” they continued. “Maybe Heather was just jealous that Britani was the one who had the information when she’s usually one that likes to bring major tea to the group?”
“Perhaps Heather should focus on her ‘relationship,’ which seems extremely problematic, rather than focusing on Britani’s cognitive abilities and deduction skills,” the insider concluded. “That seems like it would be a much better use of her time.”
To date, Britani has not commented on what Heather said about her, either on the show or on WWHL.
New episodes of RHOSLC air every Wednesday on Bravo at 8 p.m. ET.
