Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test fans were saddened to see Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Mauricio Umansky depart this week.
He made the tough decision after he was injured and felt that he could no longer compete on the show.
In the wake of his departure, Mauricio, 56, has been doing some interviews.
A recent one with E! has gotten a lot of attention for his comments about his estranged wife Kyle Richards, 57.
“Kyle and I are great friends; that’s the bottom line,” he claimed. “Obviously, we have not filed yet. But to all of these separations that people go through, do it with dignity.”
“She and I had a relationship for 30 years,” he continued. “She’s my best friend, she’s the mother of my kids, we loved each other, we love each other.”
Mauricio also shared that going through a breakup in the public eye is “not fun” as everyone has things to ask about it.
Regardless, he’s hopeful he and Kyle can “teach” people how to do this “with elegance and dignity and have respect for each other.”
He also addressed rumors they could potentially reconcile, sharing that, at this time, that is not on the table.
“We just take it day at a time right now,” he added. “I’m not going to give you any insight that I don’t have yet.”
Interestingly, Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Dina Manzo commented on it. clip of the interview that was circulating – and it’s not the content of what Mauricio said that got her attention.
Mauricio’s interview took place in a Sauna where he and the hosts were shirtless, with towels covering their bottoms.
“Why are we naked?” Dina, 54, asked in the comments section.
“And why are they multiplying?” she added, likely referring to the hosts also seemingly being in the buff.
She also made sure to clarify she was referring to “the wet naked men.”
At this time, Mauricio and the hosts have not responded to Dina’s inquiry.
